Homestead Foods began with a simple belief: local families deserve access to clean, thoughtfully raised food — grown right here in the Okanagan.

What started as a vision to grow fresh produce year-round through hydroponics has grown into something much bigger. Today, our home at 415 Old Vernon Road is a working farm that brings together indoor hydroponic growing, outdoor field production, pasture-raised hens, and a cattle herd raised just outside Kelowna.

Under Crafted Fresh Foods, our hydroponic greens supply local markets and stores year-round. At Homestead Foods, we’ve expanded that vision — growing, raising, and preserving food with care so our community can feel confident about what’s on their table.

We believe in practical homesteading at every scale. Whether you’re growing a backyard garden, preserving food for winter, or purchasing meat in bulk to feed your family well, we love sharing what we’re learning along the way.
